Airoli–Katai Naka Corridor & Tunnel
The corridor combines tunnel and elevated-road sections to link the Airoli side with Katai Naka. MMRDA’s May 2026 announcement describes phased commissioning, so the tunnel and the full corridor should be assessed separately.
For homebuyers: Check the actual access road from a shortlisted property and which section is available for use.

Metro Line 5 · Thane–Bhiwandi–Kalyan
Metro Line 5 connects the Thane, Bhiwandi and Kalyan corridor. MMRDA’s May 2026 release describes Phase 1 progressing towards inspection and an approved Line 5A extension towards Ulhasnagar. Progress in one phase does not mean the entire corridor is operational.
